The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) provides more than 170,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors, and families. Harvest has partnered with the NTFB to make holiday meal baskets to help feed families across North Texas.
Michael Chaumont, a State Farm agent, graciously donated 150 red baskets so homeowners could package up their non-perishable items. Our first meal basket assembly event was today at Harvest Hall. We will have baskets available on Thursday, December 17, at the Ugly Sweater Happy Hour, and on Friday, December 18, at the TGIF Cookie Decorating. Be sure to donate your non-perishables--such as stuffing/dressing, gravy mix, cranberry sauce, green beans, corn bread/biscuit mix, cooking oil, and sweet potatoes are perfect!
For a little incentive, State Farm has donated a Yeti Rambler! So be sure to enter the drawing after you donate your meal basket for a chance to win.
Thanks to everyone who participated today and a big thank you to Michael Chaumont and his team!
