Harvest Kids Feed 350 People

February 6, 2016

The Souper Bowl of Caring transforms super bowl weekend into the largest effort to tackle hunger in our local area. The Harvest kids kicked off the Souper Bowl of Caring weekend by participating in a TGIF canned good scavenger hunt. They were broken into two teams--Broncos and Panthers. They set off to collect priority food items as identified by the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) in a one hour time period. Combined, the teams filled up one and half boxes with food.  According to the NTFB, that equates to approximately 350 meals.

We are so proud of the Harvest kids and residents for supporting this great cause.  We truly are raising up the next generation of philanthropists!
