Harvest Teens Provide 810 Meals!

March 28, 2017

The Harvest Teen Council (HTC) hosted a “Harvest Hoops for Hunger” 3 on 3 basketball tournament to benefit the North Texas Food Bank.  From the signage, rules, brackets, to the registration, refreshments, and prizes, the HTC managed the whole tournament. The Northlake Police Department supported the event by having a team play.  The chief of police even played!

“It was great to see the community come out and support this event,” said Hunter Parris, vice president of the teen council.

The tournament raised $270 which equates to 810 meals!
